Something doesn't work
Start with the dashboard's Overview: when Naeris lacks a permission for something you turned on, can't write in a channel, or a channel or role you picked is gone or out of reach, it's listed under Worth a look, with a link to the page to fix it.
Naeris doesn't answer a command
In order of likelihood:
- It can't see or write in that channel. Check the channel's permissions for the Naeris role: View Channel, Send Messages, Embed Links.
- The command is turned off on this server, on the dashboard's Commands page.
- Discord hides it from you: in Server Settings › Integrations › Naeris, a command can be limited to some roles or channels.
If no command works anywhere, look at the top bar of the dashboard: it says whether the bot is online. When it isn't, the support server is where you'll hear why.
Slash commands don't show up when I type /
Reload Discord (Ctrl + R, or close and reopen the app): Discord caches the command list. If they still don't show up, Naeris was probably added without the permission to create commands: add it again with the invite link, nothing is lost.
Naeris can't give a role, or can't sanction someone
That's the role hierarchy: a bot can only give roles, and act on members, below its own highest role. Move the Naeris role up in Server Settings › Roles. More
Naeris refuses a role I picked
Some settings make Naeris hand a role out on its own: the role on join, level rewards, shop roles, reaction roles, invite ranks, the verified role, giveaway prizes. For those, Naeris asks what Discord would ask if you gave the role by hand: the Manage Roles permission and a role below your own highest one. It also refuses roles with moderation or admin permissions (ban, kick, manage the server, roles, channels or messages, mention everyone): handed out automatically, they'd go to whoever joins or clicks. Roles you had picked before stay; the dashboard's Worth a look panel points out the risky ones.
My server isn't on the dashboard
The dashboard lists the servers where your account has the Manage Server permission. Being a moderator isn't enough if your role doesn't have it. Check that you logged in with the right Discord account, then reload the page after adding Naeris.
The moderation and server logs stay empty
Both come from Discord's audit log: give Naeris the View Audit Log permission.
A deleted message shows "unknown" in the logs
Naeris keeps copies of messages only from the moment the Messages log is on, and for 7 days. Older messages, and messages in ignored channels or from ignored roles, can't be shown.

Is it free?
Yes, entirely. There's no premium tier.
Are coins the same on every server?
Yes. A member's wallet, bank, inventory and reputation follow them on every server that has Naeris. Each server sets how much its commands pay and what its shop sells. More
How do I stop the AI from answering?
On the dashboard's Chat page, turn off Turn on the assistant, or remove the channel from its list.
Where do I report a bug or suggest a feature?
On the support server. A screenshot and the name of the command help a lot.
How do I get my data deleted?
Ask on the support server. What is stored and for how long is in the privacy page.
