/embed<channel>Manage MessagesBuild and send an embed
Post a message or a poll as Naeris in any channel, with a preview of what members will see. Buttons can give roles, answer privately, open a ticket or a form, or take sign-ups. The same page schedules messages, keeps one at the bottom of a channel, and cleans channels on its own.
Pick the channel under Post in, then fill what you need:
@everyone only works if your own role is allowed to.The preview updates as you type. Post it sends the message; the links under it open it in Discord.
Each button has a Label, an optional Emoji, a Colour (Blurple, Grey, Green, Red) and What it does:
| Action | What a click does |
|---|---|
| Open a link | Opens the Address. Link buttons are always grey, Discord decides. |
| Give or take a role | A click gives the Role, a second click takes it back. Roles with moderation permissions are refused, so a button can never hand out power. |
| Reply privately | Shows the Reply to the member who clicked, and only to them. Good for FAQs and rules. |
| Open a ticket | Opens a ticket exactly like one of your ticket panel buttons: same category, form and staff. |
| Open a form | Opens one of your forms. |
| Sign up | Adds the member to the list, a second click takes them off. See below. |
A Sign up button turns a message into an event sheet: a tournament, a game night, a training session.
The message lists who signed up, and the button shows the count, like Join · 12/16. Both update by themselves.
Use another name and avatar posts the message under another Name and Avatar URL: your server's mascot, an "Announcements" profile. Naeris goes through a webhook in the channel, and the buttons keep working. Discord doesn't let a posted message change its name or avatar afterwards.
Messages posted from this page show up under Posted from here. Edit loads one back into the builder; Update it changes it in Discord, where it stays in place. Sign-up lists are kept when you edit. Delete removes it from Discord.
/embed #channel opens a form to build a simpler card from Discord.
Already have the message somewhere else? Import, at the top of the builder, takes the JSON of a message, from Discohook (Options › JSON Data Editor) or another bot, or a discohook.app link with ?data= in it. It fills the builder with the text, the first embed as the card, its fields, the link buttons, and the name and avatar if there's one. An embed's author goes in front of the title, and its thumbnail becomes the image when there's none. Check it in the preview, then post.
New poll asks for a Question, 2 to 5 Choices and a channel. Members vote with buttons and see the results as bars with percentages. One vote each: clicking another choice moves it, clicking the same one again takes it back. The dashboard lists polls Running and Finished, and End it closes one. /poll starts one from Discord.
Messages Naeris posts on its own, as text or as a card:
Skip it when nobody wrote since the last one avoids a channel full of reminders that nobody read. Each message shows when it will next be posted.
A message that stays at the bottom of a channel: when people write, Naeris waits for the chat to pause (6 seconds), deletes its previous copy and posts it again under the latest messages. Good for "read the rules before asking" in a help channel, or the format to follow in a sales channel.
Naeris deletes old messages in a channel on its own, checked every minute. Good for bump channels, media channels or bot command channels.
30m, 24h or 7d. Empty: never by age.Set at least a delay or a number to keep, or nothing gets deleted. With both, Naeris deletes messages older than the delay except the latest ones. Messages older than 14 days can't be bulk-deleted by bots, so Naeris removes those one by one, a few each minute. It needs Manage Messages.
