What's new

What changed in Naeris, newest first. The small fixes are left out.

8 October 2026

  • Music is gone: the player, its commands and its dashboard page. Naeris focuses on running servers; dedicated music bots do music better.
  • Ticket transcripts read like the conversation: names instead of raw mentions, images kept in the file, and a header with who opened and closed the ticket, and for how long.
  • The ticket history on the dashboard shows one line per ticket, readable on a phone, with who closed it and how long it stayed open.

7 October 2026

  • The message builder imports a message from Discohook or another bot.
  • Naeris pings @everyone and @here only in messages written to do so, by members allowed to. Suggestions, ticket reasons and display names no longer turn into pings.
  • Images for /image, RSS feeds and card backgrounds now come from public https:// sites only.
  • Roles Naeris hands out on its own (role on join, level rewards, shop, reaction roles, giveaway prizes) now need Manage Roles, a role below yours, and no moderation powers. Why a role is refused
  • The automod also checks messages that start with a prefix command, before the command runs.
  • Recent catches on the automod page: what it caught in the last 30 days, each message one click away from the tester. Caught messages are now deleted after 30 days; they used to be kept with no limit.
  • Ready-made sanctions can be applied from the member's file on the dashboard too. Ready-made bans follow the role hierarchy, like the other sanctions.
  • The overview has a Worth a look panel: permissions Naeris lacks for what you turned on, channels it can't use or that were deleted, roles above its own. On its first run it found a role on join that couldn't be given and a deleted welcome channel on servers using Naeris. The modules concerned get an amber light in the menu, with the problem repeated at the top of their page.
  • Reaction roles: Edit roles changes the roles of a posted message without posting it again. Fixed: reaction messages made on the dashboard with one of the server's own emojis never gave their role.
  • Invites from accounts less than 7 days old now count as fake: shown, but not counted towards invite roles.
  • Deleted messages on the Logs page: the last 7 days, filtered by member or channel, with their files. For people who can manage messages.
  • Live previews on the dashboard: the drawn welcome card and your own rank card, as you change their image and colour.
  • Fixed: /rank and the member's file used the classic XP curve even on servers set to another one.
  • Form answers download as CSV, one column per question.
  • Try a message on the automod page: see what your rules, saved or not, would do to a message.
  • One-click starts on the overview: Turn on the basics for automod, Create the channels for logs.
  • Tickets can ask up to five questions before opening, set per category. The first answer becomes the ticket's {reason}.
  • Ticket channel names keep accents, and {number:4} gives 0042.
  • Staff notes on the member's file in the dashboard, the same as /sanctions note.
  • The ticket history links to each transcript.
  • The dashboard asks before you leave a page with unsaved changes. Its new Docs key opens the page of these docs about the module you're on, and /help links here too.
  • Automod runs first: a message it removes no longer earns XP or coins, gets an answer from the AI or reaches linked servers.
  • These docs, rewritten: every module, in English and in French.

6 October 2026

  • Logs keep deleted and edited messages for 7 days, with their images, videos and files, even across a restart.
  • Proofs on sanctions: up to 3 files, kept in the mod-log.
  • The dashboard's overview shows what's Waiting for you: form answers, suggestions, tickets, requests, reports.
  • Suggestions: live vote count and colour.
  • Sign-up buttons in the message builder, with places and a role.
  • Tickets: claimed tickets move to their own category, can be locked to their claimer, and the staff gets a reminder.
  • Automod: a sanction of its own for each filter.
  • Fixed: the economy settings couldn't be saved.

5 October 2026

The big one.

4 October 2026

  • The dashboard does what the commands do: a members page with sanctions, roles, levels and bans, messages and polls, invites, stat channels, channel clean-up.

2 October 2026

  • A new Naeris: the website and the dashboard rebuilt from scratch, and the bot speaking English and French.
